mediven comfort vitality at a glance

Women's opaque knee high with a soft, skin-friendly knit. Clima Comfort™ and Clima Fresh™ keep legs cool and dry; Acu-Knit® holds the compression gradient over time. 15-20 through 30-40 mmHg.

The most comfortable stocking in its class, now with pattern.

mediven comfort vitality knee-high socks in 20-30 mmHg are patterned graduated compression socks that look like everyday herringbone dress hosiery. At 20-30 mmHg, the most commonly prescribed compression level, they help manage moderate varicose veins, moderate leg swelling, and early chronic venous insufficiency, and support recovery after sclerotherapy or other vein procedures.

The stylish herringbone-ribbed pattern reads as a normal sock for men and women, while a seamless mediGrip® silicone top band holds the sock securely without pinching or clinging to clothing. Clima Comfort™ blended with lanolin keeps legs comfortably dry, Clima Fresh™ keeps them odor-free, and Acu-Knit® delivers accurate, long-lasting compression. Available in standard and petite lengths.

What is mediven comfort vitality?
mediven comfort vitality is a patterned venous compression stocking with a herringbone-ribbed design suitable for men and women. It is positioned as the most comfortable stocking in its class with the added benefit of a fashion pattern.
What is the mediGrip top band on comfort vitality?
MediGrip® is a completely seamless silicone top band knit into the inside of the band, skin-side only, so it holds the stocking securely in place without clinging to clothing. It lets calf-high vitality stockings stay up through the day without a separate garter or adhesive.
Will the herringbone pattern look obviously medical?
No, the herringbone rib reads as a normal dress or trouser sock pattern, which is the point of the line. It is offered in neutral tones (chocolate, ebony, charcoal) so it pairs with everyday and professional wardrobes.
Does comfort vitality come in petite?
Yes, comfort vitality is available in standard and petite lengths. Petite is sized for shorter calf length, not a different compression, choose it based on your leg measurements against the size chart.
What keeps comfort vitality fresh with daily wear?
Clima Fresh™ provides antibacterial action that prevents odor formation, and Clima Comfort™ blended with lanolin wicks moisture to keep legs comfortably dry. Together they support clean, all-day wear.
What does 20-30 mmHg compression treat?
20-30 mmHg is the most commonly prescribed compression range, used for moderate varicose veins, moderate leg swelling, and ongoing symptom management. It is the standard starting point for true therapeutic compression.
Do I need a prescription for 20-30 mmHg?
20-30 mmHg is firm therapeutic compression that is usually recommended or prescribed by a clinician, and correct measurement matters at this level. Check with your provider so the level and fit match your condition.
Why is 20-30 mmHg the most commonly prescribed level?
It balances meaningful therapeutic benefit with all-day wearability, covering the majority of moderate venous symptoms without the firmness of the highest ranges. That makes it the default for moderate varicose veins, edema, and post-procedure support.
Is 20-30 mmHg used after vein procedures?
Yes, 20-30 mmHg is frequently used after sclerotherapy and other vein treatments to support recovery and results. Follow the specific protocol your clinician provides after any procedure.
How long should I wear 20-30 mmHg each day?
Most therapeutic compression is worn during waking hours and removed at night, but your clinician will give you the schedule that fits your condition. Putting the stockings on early, before swelling builds, generally gives the best results.
